` on `stream_url`. |
| `expires_at` | When the link stops working. |
| `stream_url` | The stream WebSocket the link connects to. |
`ttl_seconds` is optional: it defaults to `3600` and must be between `60` and `604800` (7 days).
Out of range is `400 INVALID_TTL`.
The share link opens the same stream as a view-only viewer:
```
wss://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/$SANDBOX_ID/browser/stream?share=$SHARE_TOKEN
```
A view-only link is **revocable**: revoking it stops every outstanding link for that browser immediately.
```bash
curl -X DELETE https://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/$SANDBOX_ID/browser/share \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $MIOSA_API_KEY"
```
```json
{ "data": { "revoked": true, "epoch": 1 } }
```
Revocation bumps the sandbox's share `epoch`; every token minted at an earlier epoch is rejected from then on.
View-only is enforced inside the sandbox's browser process, not in the page. A view-only viewer receives frames; its input is refused on the machine, so it can never type, click, or navigate - whatever mode it asks for.
## Full screen
The viewer has a full-screen control that expands the browser to the whole screen for closer inspection or a kiosk-style display.
Toggle it off to return to the embedded frame.
## Next
- [Drive it over CDP](/docs/browser-use/cdp/) - connect an agent to the same browser.
- [Limits, billing, security](/docs/browser-use/limits/) - what the viewer can and cannot do.

# Browser use quickstart
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/browser-use/quickstart
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/browser-use/quickstart
Source: src/routes/docs/browser-use/quickstart/+page.md
Description: Start a live browser in any MIOSA sandbox, read its stream and CDP endpoints, and stop it when you are done.
# Quickstart
Browser use runs inside a sandbox, on every template, with no extra setup.
You create a sandbox as usual, then start its browser.
The browser starts lazily on the first `POST`. Sandboxes that never use a browser pay nothing, and sandbox boot stays as fast as it is today.
## 1. Start a sandbox
Any sandbox works, on any template. Nothing about the browser is chosen at create time.
The live viewer needs the sandbox's virtual display, which a SOMA sandbox does not have yet.
```bash
curl -X POST https://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $MIOSA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{ "template_id": "miosa-sandbox", "size": "small" }'
```
Wait until the sandbox `state` is `running`.
## 2. Start the browser
```bash
curl -X POST https://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/$SANDBOX_ID/browser \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $MIOSA_API_KEY"
```
The response carries everything you need:
```json
{
"data": {
"state": "running",
"epoch": 0,
"viewport": { "width": 1280, "height": 720 },
"stream_url": "wss://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/sbx_01j9x/browser/stream",
"cdp_url": "wss://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/sbx_01j9x/browser/cdp",
"stream_auth": "miosa_stream_...",
"stream_auth_expires_at": 1783000000
}
}
```
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `state` | `running` when the browser is up. |
| `epoch` | Share-link epoch. Bumping it revokes every outstanding share link. |
| `viewport` | Browser viewport, `1280` by `720`. |
| `stream_url` | WebSocket for the live view (`wss://api.miosa.ai/...`). |
| `cdp_url` | WebSocket Chrome DevTools Protocol endpoint for agents. |
| `stream_auth` | A short-lived token for the viewer or CDP socket. |
| `stream_auth_expires_at` | Unix seconds when `stream_auth` expires (1 hour). |
`POST` is idempotent: calling it again on a running browser returns the same endpoints without restarting it.
`GET` needs the `sandboxes:read` scope.
`POST` and `DELETE` need `sandboxes:write`.
The WebSocket endpoints need `sandboxes:exec` when you authenticate with an API key.
## 3. Open the viewer
In the MIOSA console, open the sandbox and use its browser panel.
To open the viewer yourself, connect to `stream_url` and authenticate.
```bash
# The viewer protocol is a WebSocket: JPEG frames and JSON events down, JSON input up.
# Pass the token as a query parameter...
wss://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/$SANDBOX_ID/browser/stream?token=$STREAM_AUTH
# ...or as a header: Authorization: Bearer $STREAM_AUTH
```
From there a viewer can **take control** of the browser or share a **view-only link**.
See [Live viewer](/docs/browser-use/live-viewer/).
## 4. Let an agent drive it
The browser a person is watching is the same browser an agent connects to over CDP.
Connect to `cdp_url` with Playwright or Puppeteer - see [Drive it over CDP](/docs/browser-use/cdp/).
## 5. Check the state without starting it
`GET` only reports state; it never starts the browser.
```bash
curl https://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/$SANDBOX_ID/browser \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $MIOSA_API_KEY"
```
```json
{
"data": { "state": "running", "epoch": 0, "viewport": { "width": 1280, "height": 720 } }
}
```
For a sandbox that is not running, `state` is `sandbox_not_running` and no guest is touched:
```json
{ "data": { "state": "sandbox_not_running", "epoch": 0 } }
```
## 6. Stop the browser
```bash
curl -X DELETE https://api.miosa.ai/api/v1/sandboxes/$SANDBOX_ID/browser \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $MIOSA_API_KEY"
```
```json
{
"data": { "state": "stopped", "epoch": 0, "viewport": { "width": 1280, "height": 720 } }
}
```
Stopping the browser frees its memory while the sandbox keeps running.
The browser survives **pause and resume** of the sandbox; stopping it is what releases the memory.
## Errors
| Status | Code | Cause |
|---|---|---|
| `400` | `INVALID_ID` | The sandbox id is not a UUID |
| `404` | `NOT_FOUND` | Unknown sandbox, or one owned by another tenant |
| `401`/`403` | - | Missing or insufficient credentials |
| `409` | `SANDBOX_NOT_RUNNING` | The sandbox must be running to start or stop the browser |
| `501` | `BROWSER_NOT_AVAILABLE` | The sandbox image has no Chromium or Node |
| `502` | `BROWSER_START_FAILED` | The browser daemon did not come up in time |
`501` names a template that ships the browser prerequisites: the sandbox image includes Chromium and Node.

# Build an app like...
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/build
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/build
Source: src/routes/docs/build/+page.md
Description: Guides for platform builders. Run open-source agents and frameworks on MIOSA, or build familiar AI products like Lovable, Manus and Perplexity - app builders, coding agents, autonomous and computer-use agents, chat and companions, answer engines, multi-agent, voice, design, video, vertical apps, and an internal Business OS.
Every guide is one of two kinds:
- **Run X on MIOSA.** Open-source agents, frameworks and tools you can actually install and use (OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, OpenHands, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor's CLI agent, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph, Pipecat, Browser Use, Stagehand, Steel). The guide and its agent prompt install the real tool from its official docs, run it on a MIOSA sandbox or computer, and then wrap it for your team or your customers.
- **Build an app like X.** Closed products you cannot run yourself (Lovable, Bolt, v0, Manus, Perplexity, Character.AI and others). The guide names the product, maps each of its capabilities onto a MIOSA primitive, and builds your own version.
Either kind can be set up **two ways, on the same architecture**:
- **For your own company (internal).** One organization, a workspace per team, access control and SSO, and an internal domain. No billing.
- **As a product (for your customers).** Multi-tenant: white-label branding, an organization or workspace per customer, custom domains, and usage metering.
Each guide ships an **agent prompt tailored to what you are building** - pick the shape and a name, and hand the brief to OSA, Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor. Browse the apps and platforms below.
MIOSA is the execution layer underneath AI products. The core idea runs through every guide:
**build your product powered by Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, OpenClaw, OSA, or your own model**.
The harness runs inside a MIOSA sandbox or computer, and your product wraps it.
There are two paths, and they are not exclusive:
Background coding agents, parallel sessions per sandbox, and a persistent workspace per developer. No product to build: just run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or your own harness in the cloud and watch the work.
Wrap a harness in your own UI, model, and billing: a Lovable-style builder, an internal workspace, or a customer-facing product, using Claude Code, Hermes, OpenClaw, or your own model under the hood.
## Ideas to build
A branded desktop/web app where your users chat with an agent that works in its own cloud computer, with a browser and files.
The agent builds something (a site, a doc, a dashboard, or an app), shares it at a preview URL, then promotes it to a deployment on your own branded domain.
An Acme Corp-style internal platform: one place for your team's agents, apps, and data, behind your own login.
The same shape, Lumen-style and white-label: your brand, your domains, and your end users, with MIOSA running behind them.
Put Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor agents in sandboxes: background work, parallel sessions, and a persistent workspace each.
An orchestrator that fans work out to child agents in their own machines and joins the results.
Each guide has the same shape: a **prompt builder**, **What you're building**, a
**What you need on MIOSA** checklist with a create command per resource, an **architecture
diagram**, six numbered steps (**create an account and API key → create the resources → wire
the agent loop → preview → deploy → custom domain**), **costs and limits**, and **next steps**.

This guide runs **Browser Use** on MIOSA. You don't have to use it.
You can build your own browser agent instead, on MIOSA alone: drive the [live browser inside a sandbox](/docs/browser-use) over CDP, or a full [computer](/docs/computer-use) with screenshots, clicks and typing.
You own the loop, the prompts, the model and the product.
See [Build a browser and computer-use agent](/docs/build/chatgpt-agent).

## Customizing it
BusinessOS is a template, not a fixed product: the meaning of a module comes from your company, not from the repo. A fresh install shows an intentional unshaped-module screen until you give it shape. Everything you edit lives in the clone you already have:
- **Frontend and modules** live in `frontend/` (SvelteKit). A module is a route plus the people, agents, records, states, and policies it owns; start from an existing foundational route as a template.
- **Go backend** lives in `desktop/`: the API your modules call for their data.
- **Knowledge and agents** come from the bundled Optimal Engine in `optimal-engine/`, which gives the assistant memory, search, and agent context over your own data.
- **Workspace shape** lives in `workspaces/`: teams, roles, and the private projections a workspace starts from.
Change code in the running machine and restart the stack to see it:
```bash
miosa exec business-os-box --cwd /workspace/BusinessOS -- make dev-local-restart
```
The repository's own [docs/](https://github.com/Miosa-osa/BusinessOS/tree/main/docs) cover the architecture, module authoring, and operations in depth.

This guide runs **Stagehand** on MIOSA.

Source: src/routes/docs/changelog/+page.md
Description: Customer-facing updates to MIOSA products, platform capabilities, SDKs, CLI tools, and documentation.
# Changelog
This page highlights meaningful improvements after they are available to customers.
Entries focus on the product result, affected workflow, and any action customers should take.
Internal infrastructure details, private identifiers, security-sensitive implementation notes, and routine maintenance are intentionally excluded.
Planned work belongs in [Availability & Roadmap](/docs/availability/), not in the changelog.
Unless an entry includes an action notice, existing projects and integrations continue working without changes.

# CLI overview
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/+page.md
Description: The miosa command line tool. Install, sign in, and drive sandboxes, computers, agents, deployments and every platform resource from the terminal.
`miosa` covers the whole platform: sandboxes and computers, files and previews, agents and their runs, deployments, databases, storage, API keys, webhooks, billing and the organization you work in.
## Quick start
```bash
npm i -g @miosa/cli # or Homebrew, the install script, or a release archive
miosa --version # prints 2.3.1
miosa login # browser device-code sign in
miosa whoami # user, organization, plan and scopes
miosa create my-box --wait # provision a sandbox
miosa exec my-box -- echo hello # run a command
miosa destroy my-box --yes
```
## Use the CLI from agents
The CLI is not only for humans. [OSA](/docs/mcp#osa), MIOSA's open-source agent, runs shell commands, so it can drive `miosa` from your machine or from a MIOSA computer. `osa run "..."` runs it headless with no TUI. Any agent with shell access can do the same, and drive the entire platform with `miosa`: it covers every resource the API and the SDKs expose, not just a tool surface, and it composes with the shell and the tools the agent already has.
- **Install inside a sandbox or CI.** `npm i -g @miosa/cli` is the fastest path in a container or CI job. Sandbox images ship Node, so a fresh agent machine has the CLI in one command.
- **Authenticate with a key.** Set `MIOSA_API_KEY` and every command is authenticated with no browser. Never pass a key as an argument.
- **Get JSON and exit codes.** Add `--json` for machine-readable output and branch on the exit code. `exec` and `ssh` exit with the remote command's status.
```bash
export MIOSA_API_KEY="msk_u_..."
npm i -g @miosa/cli
# An agent provisioning, using and cleaning up a machine, all scriptable
ID=$(miosa create agent-box --size small --ttl 1h --wait --json | jq -r .id)
miosa exec "$ID" -- npm ci
miosa preview create "$ID" 3000 --visibility public --json | jq -r .url
miosa destroy "$ID" --yes
```
An agent running in Claude Code or Codex with shell access uses exactly these commands: provision a sandbox, run a build, publish a preview, read the JSON, clean up. No MCP setup required.
### When the CLI beats MCP
Use the **CLI** when the agent already has a shell. It reaches the whole platform rather than one tool surface, its output is scriptable and composes with `jq`, pipes and files, and `miosa api ` covers any endpoint the high-level commands do not. Use **MCP** when the client has no shell, or when you want the model to choose tools rather than write commands. See [CLI or MCP: which to use](/docs/cli/cli-vs-mcp).
## Command groups
Every top-level command, grouped the way the CLI organises them.

## Machine arguments
Anywhere a sandbox is expected you may give its name, its id, `current` (set with `miosa use`) or `self` (inside a sandbox). Commands that act on a computer take `--computer`.
```bash
miosa exec my-box -- npm test # by name
miosa exec sbox_abc123 -- npm test # by id
miosa use my-box # then omit the name
miosa exec -- npm test
```
## Global flags
These apply to every command.
```text
--api-key string API key (overrides MIOSA_API_KEY and config)
--api-url string API base URL (overrides MIOSA_BASE_URL and config)
--profile string Config profile to use (MIOSA_PROFILE)
--org string Organization to bill for this command (MIOSA_ORG)
--json Machine-readable JSON (same as -o json)
-o, --output string text (default) or json (MIOSA_OUTPUT)
# Access, org and billing
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/access-billing
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/access-billing
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/access-billing/+page.md
Description: API keys, service accounts, webhooks, members, billing, audit log, alerts and notifications from the miosa CLI.
## API keys
```bash
miosa api-key create my-key --preset cli
miosa api-key list
miosa api-key presets
miosa api-key rotate
miosa api-key update --name renamed --rate-limit 600
miosa api-key rm --yes
```
`api-key create` takes `--preset` (`read-only`, `ci`, `agent` or `cli`), `--scope` (repeatable, for example `sandboxes:exec`), `--expires-in` (days), `--rate-limit`, `--allowed-ip` (repeatable), `--workspace-id` and `--quiet-key` (print only the secret).
Scoped keys for external users:
```bash
miosa api-key scoped --external-user-id --workspace-id --scope sandboxes:exec --expires-at 2027-01-01T00:00:00Z
```
## Service accounts
Non-human accounts that own API keys for pipelines and programs.
```bash
miosa service-account new deploy-pipeline
miosa service-account list
miosa service-account key new --preset ci --expires-in 90 --quiet-key
miosa service-account keys
miosa service-account update --description "..." --name renamed
miosa service-account rm --yes
```
`service-account key new` takes the same scoping flags as `api-key create`.
## Webhooks
Send events to your own HTTPS endpoints.
```bash
miosa webhook create https://example.com/hook --name deploys --event sandbox.created
miosa webhook list
miosa webhook get
miosa webhook events
miosa webhook deliveries
miosa webhook test
miosa webhook replay
miosa webhook update --active --event sandbox.created --retries 5
miosa webhook rm --yes
```
`webhook create` takes `--event` (repeatable, see `webhook events`), `--header NAME=VALUE` (repeatable), `--retries` (0 to 10) and `--workspace-id`.
## Members
```bash
miosa member list
miosa member add --role member
miosa member role --role admin
miosa member rm --yes
```
Roles are `admin`, `member` or `viewer`.
## Billing
```bash
miosa billing plan
miosa billing balance
miosa billing spend
miosa billing usage
miosa billing breakdown
miosa billing invoices
miosa billing upcoming
miosa billing transactions -n 50 --page 1
```
`miosa billing usage` shows model usage by day and takes no filters. To filter the product catalog by `--product`, `--size`, `--state` or `--template`, use `miosa catalog`.
## Audit log
```bash
miosa audit -n 50 --type sandbox.created --workspace-id
```
## Alerts and notifications
```bash
miosa alerts list
miosa alerts resolve
miosa notifications list
miosa notifications unread
miosa notifications read
miosa notifications read-all
```
Billing reads the organization new machines bill. Pin it with `miosa org bill `, or override per command with `--org`. See [Account and environment](/docs/cli/account).
# Account and environment
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/account
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/account
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/account/+page.md
Description: Check who you are, which organization pays, the organization's members and limits, and the CLI version.
## Who you are
```bash
miosa whoami
```
Shows the user, organization, workspace, plan, credits and the scopes the key holds.
## Organization
The organization is who pays for new machines. `miosa org` shows it and manages its members.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| `miosa org` | The organization new machines bill, with members and limits |
| `miosa org list` | Organizations you can bill |
| `miosa org bill [org]` | Pin the organization new machines bill |
| `miosa org bill --clear` | Stop pinning an organization |
| `miosa org members` | Members of the organization |
| `miosa org invite --role member` | Invite a person (`owner`, `admin` or `member`) |
| `miosa org caps` | Show member caps |
`--org` on any command overrides the pinned organization for that command:
```bash
miosa --org acme list
miosa --org acme create build-box
```
Member caps limit what one person can spend or run:
```bash
miosa org caps set dana --spend 25 # dollars per billing period
miosa org caps set dana --concurrent 10 # most machines at once
miosa org caps set dana --no-spend-cap
miosa org caps set dana --no-concurrency-cap
```
## Limits
```bash
miosa limits
```
Shows the limits of the organization a new machine would bill.
## Open the console
```bash
miosa open # open the web console in a browser
miosa open --print # print the URL instead
```
## Version and updates
```bash
miosa version
miosa update # download and replace the binary
miosa update --check # report only
```
## Doctor
```bash
miosa doctor
```
Checks configuration, connectivity and authentication, and prints a fix for each failure.
Members and their roles live under `miosa member` for day to day changes, and under the organization for invites and caps. API keys and service accounts live under their own pages: [Access, org and billing](/docs/cli/access-billing).
# Agents, chats and runs
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/agents
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/agents
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/agents/+page.md
Description: Run agents on a sandbox or computer, manage saved agent definitions, chats and durable runs, and see how runs stream.
## Bring your own model
Agent runs use your own model-provider connections, never MIOSA platform keys. Mint a key that can do this with `miosa api-key create NAME --preset cli`. Add a connection with `miosa connections add models` (the key is read from a prompt or stdin, never from an argument). A run without a usable connection fails with a message that names this command.
```bash
miosa api-key create agent-key --preset cli
miosa connections add models
```
## Prompt
Run an agent on a sandbox or computer and follow it.
```bash
miosa prompt --sandbox my-box "fix the failing test"
miosa prompt --new-machine --harness codex "write a README"
miosa prompt --sandbox my-box --continue
```
| Flag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `-s, --sandbox string` | Sandbox to run in (default: the current sandbox) |
| `--computer string` | Computer to run in |
| `--agent string` | Run a saved agent (name or id) instead of an ad hoc one |
| `--harness string` | `claude-code`, `codex` or `osa` (default: the agent's, or `claude-code`) |
| `--model string` | Model for the harness (default: the harness default) |
| `--new-machine` | Provision a machine for this run |
| `--machine string` | Kind of new machine: `sandbox` or `computer` |
| `--size string` | Size of a new machine |
| `--template string` | Template of a new machine |
| `--chat string` | Chat id; continues the chat if it has runs |
| `--new-chat` | Start a chat (a new chat id is printed) |
| `--reuse string` | New machine lifetime: `run` (one per run) or `chat` (one per `--chat`, files persist) |
| `--after-run string` | What happens to a new machine when the run ends: `destroy`, `pause` or `keep` |
| `--max-time int` | Stop the run after this many seconds |
| `--no-follow` | Print the run id and return without waiting |
| `--notify-email` | Email you when the run finishes |
| `--notify-webhook string` | Webhook id to notify when the run finishes |
## Saved agents
An agent is a saved, versioned definition: harness, model, instructions, the machine it runs on, and what it may do. `` is a name or an id.
```bash
miosa agent new reviewer --harness claude-code --instructions-file review.md
miosa agent publish reviewer --file config.yaml
miosa agent list
miosa agent diff reviewer 2 3
miosa agent run reviewer "review PR 42" --sandbox my-box
miosa agent harnesses
```
`miosa agent new` takes `--harness` (`claude-code`, `codex`, `osa` or `custom`), `--model`, `--instructions` or `--instructions-file`, `--overdrive` (run the harness without approval prompts), `--timeout-sec`, `--description`, and a full `--file` (YAML or JSON).
Other subcommands: `agent get`, `agent versions`, `agent version`, `agent update`, `agent duplicate`, `agent rm`, `agent runs`, `agent templates`, `agent triggers`, `agent approvals`, `agent authority`, `agent defaults`, `agent harness-versions`.
## Runs
List, follow and stop agent runs.
```bash
miosa run list --status running
miosa run get
miosa run follow
miosa run events
miosa run logs
miosa run messages
miosa run outputs
miosa run files
miosa run diagnostics
miosa run download -O out.tar
miosa run steer --sandbox my-box "also add tests" # queue the next turn for the running agent
miosa run interrupt --sandbox my-box # stop the agent attached to a machine
miosa run stop
miosa run usage --group-by model
```
`miosa run list` filters with `--agent-id`, `--chat`, `--harness`, `--source`, `--status`, `--target`, `--workspace-id` and `--limit`.
## Chats
Chats are agent conversations that remember.
```bash
miosa chat list
miosa chat start --sandbox my-box --harness claude-code
miosa chat show
miosa chat context # how full the context is
miosa chat compact # compact it so the chat can go on
```
## Connections
Model providers, apps and tool servers your agents use.
```bash
miosa connections add models
miosa connections list --kind models
miosa connections test
miosa connections share
miosa connections rm
```
`miosa connections add` takes `--key-stdin` (never a key on the command line), `--label`, `--workspace-id`, `--url` (for an MCP tool server) and `--header-env HEADER=ENV_VAR` (repeatable).
Runs are the canonical agent execution contract. `miosa prompt`, `miosa agent run` and `miosa chat` all create runs; `miosa run` reads and controls them.
# Raw API access
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/api
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/api
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/api/+page.md
Description: Call any MIOSA API endpoint from the CLI with your stored credentials, using miosa api.
`miosa api` sends a request to the MIOSA API with your stored credentials and prints the response body. The path is relative to the API base URL (`/api/v1`). Use it for anything the CLI has no command for yet.
```bash
miosa api [METHOD] [flags]
```
The method defaults to GET, or POST when `--data` is given.
```bash
miosa api /credits/balance
miosa api GET /sandboxes/my-box/ports
miosa api POST /webhooks -d '{"url":"https://example.com/hook","events":["sandbox.ready"]}'
miosa api PATCH /sandboxes/my-box/tags -d @tags.json
echo '{"name":"x"}' | miosa api POST /workspaces -d -
```
| Flag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `-X, --method string` | HTTP method (default GET, or POST with `--data`) |
| `-d, --data string` | Request body: JSON, `@file`, or `-` for stdin |
| `-H, --header stringArray` | Extra header, `'Name: value'` (repeatable) |
| `-i, --include` | Print the status line and response headers first |
A failing status exits non-zero (see exit codes) and still prints the body.
## When to reach for the raw API
| Need | Use |
|---|---|
| Code/build/test/runtime workspace | `miosa create`, `miosa exec`, `miosa files`, `miosa services`, `miosa url` |
| Full GUI/browser computer | `miosa api /computers ...` or an SDK (`client.computers`) |
| Docker Host appliance | SDK or API Docker Host endpoints; publish from a sandbox to Docker Host |
| Product/template readiness | `miosa catalog` |
| Anything else | `miosa api ` |
`miosa api` uses the same profile, key and organization as every other command. Combine it with `--json` and `jq` for scripting. See [JSON output and scripting](/docs/cli/scripting).
# CLI or MCP: which to use
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/cli-vs-mcp
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/cli-vs-mcp
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/cli-vs-mcp/+page.md
Description: The miosa CLI is for humans and scripts in a terminal; MCP gives AI clients the same capabilities as tools. Both use the same API key and scopes.
- The **CLI** (`miosa`) is for humans, scripts and agents with a shell. You type commands, read text or JSON, and branch on exit codes.
- **MCP** gives AI clients (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Claude Desktop) the same capabilities as tools. The model calls tools by name instead of running shell commands.
Both use the **same API key and the same scopes**. A key that can create a sandbox from the CLI can create one over MCP, and the reverse. The only difference is the surface.
## Which should an agent use?
- **Has a shell? Use the CLI.** Claude Code, Codex, Cursor's terminal and any CI job can run `miosa`. The CLI is often the better choice: it reaches the whole platform, not just one tool surface; output is scriptable; and it composes with `jq`, pipes and files.
- **No shell? Use MCP.** Claude Desktop chat and other hosted chat products have no shell, so tools are the only path. MCP lets the model call capabilities by name.
Nothing is lost either way, because the key, the scopes and the resources are identical.
## Comparison
| | CLI | MCP |
|---|---|---|
| Who drives it | A person, a script, or an agent with a shell | An AI client without a shell (Claude Desktop), or one that prefers tools |
| Interface | `miosa [flags]` | JSON-RPC tools over Streamable HTTP or stdio |
| Install | npm, Homebrew, install script, Releases | Hosted endpoint, no install, or `pip install miosa-mcp` |
| Output | Text or JSON, with exit codes | Structured tool results and images |
| Coverage | The whole platform, plus `miosa api` for any endpoint | The MCP tool surface |
| Best for | Agents with shell access, build loops, CI, one-off operations | Clients without a shell |
| Auth | `msk_u_*` key or a profile | `msk_u_*` key as a Bearer token |
| Scope model | Same key scopes | Same key scopes |
## Use both
A common split: an agent with a shell drives the platform with the CLI, and a client without a shell reaches the same account over MCP with the same key.
```bash
ID=$(miosa create agent-box --size small --wait --json | jq -r .id) # CLI, from a shell agent
miosa exec "$ID" -- npm test
# the same account over MCP: exec(sandbox_id=ID, command="npm run build")
miosa list --json | jq -r '.data[].name' # CLI, read back
```
Both surfaces inherit the same tenant scoping, plan limits, credit checks and audit logging, because both sit in front of the MIOSA REST API.
# Config and profiles
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/config
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/config
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/config/+page.md
Description: Named sign-ins and defaults in ~/.miosa/config.toml, plus the config commands, options and environment variables.
Settings live in `~/.miosa/config.toml` (mode 0600). The API key is never printed by `config`; sign in with `miosa login`.
## Config commands
```bash
miosa config list # effective settings of the current profile (alias ls)
miosa config get # print one setting
miosa config set
miosa config path # print the config file path
```
Keys: `api_url`, `current_sandbox`, `default_workspace`.
```toml
api_url = "https://api.miosa.ai/api/v1"
api_key = "msk_u_..."
default_workspace = "default"
current_sandbox = "my-box"
```
## Profiles
A profile is a named sign-in with its own API URL, organization and defaults. Several profiles let you keep accounts or environments apart.
```bash
miosa login --profile work
miosa profile list
miosa profile use work
miosa --profile default list
```
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| `miosa profile add ` | Create an empty profile (then `miosa login --profile `) |
| `miosa profile list` | List profiles (alias `ls`) |
| `miosa profile show [name]` | Show a profile's settings (the key is masked) |
| `miosa profile use ` | Make a profile the default for new commands |
| `miosa profile rm ` | Delete a profile and its stored key |
`miosa profile add` takes `--api-url` and `--workspace`.
### Which profile is in effect
1. `--profile`
2. `MIOSA_PROFILE`
3. the one set with `miosa profile use`
4. `default`
## Credential resolution
1. `--api-key`
2. `MIOSA_API_KEY`
3. the active profile in `~/.miosa/config.toml`
## Environment variables
```text
MIOSA_API_KEY API key
MIOSA_BASE_URL API base URL
MIOSA_PROFILE Profile to use
MIOSA_ORG Organization to bill
MIOSA_OUTPUT Output format (text or json)
MIOSA_RETRIES Retries on 429 and transient 5xx
MIOSA_NO_UPDATE_NOTICE Set to 1 to silence the new-version notice
```
## Sign out
```bash
miosa logout # remove the stored key of the active profile
miosa logout --all # delete the config file (all profiles)
```
`miosa doctor` checks configuration, connectivity and authentication, and prints a fix for each failure.
# Devices
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/devices
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/devices
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/devices/+page.md
Description: miosa device is one surface over every runtime kind you can run work on - sandboxes, computers and more - for listing, exec, files, ports and lifecycle.
A device is any runtime MIOSA can run a command on: a sandbox, a computer or another kind. `miosa device` is one surface over all of them, so a script does not need to know which kind it is talking to. `` is an id.
```bash
miosa device list
miosa device list --status running
miosa device capabilities
miosa device exec -- uname -a
```
Aliases: `devices`.
## Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| `miosa device list` | List devices (`-n, --limit`, `--name`, `--status`) |
| `miosa device get ` | Show one device (alias `show`) |
| `miosa device capabilities ` | What this device can do (alias `caps`) |
| `miosa device exec ` | Run a command (`-c, --command`, `--timeout-ms`) |
| `miosa device files ` | List a directory (`--path`, default `/workspace`; alias `ls`) |
| `miosa device read ` | Read a file, base64 (`--path`) |
| `miosa device write ` | Write a file (`--path`, `--content`, or `--file`) |
| `miosa device expose ` | Publish a port |
| `miosa device browser ` | Show a device's browser URL (computers) |
| `miosa device extend ` | Replace the time to live (`--timeout`, for example `30m` or `2h`) |
| `miosa device pause ` / `resume ` | Pause or resume |
| `miosa device stop ` | Stop, keeping the disk |
| `miosa device rm --yes` | Destroy permanently (aliases `delete`, `destroy`) |
## exec
```bash
miosa device exec -- uname -a
miosa device exec -c "npm test" --timeout-ms 120000
```
`miosa device exec` exits with the remote command's status, like `miosa exec`.
## Files
```bash
miosa device files --path /workspace
miosa device read --path /workspace/out.json
miosa device write --path /workspace/app.py --content "print(1)"
```
`miosa device read` returns the file contents base64-encoded. `miosa device write` takes the contents from `--content`, or a JSON body with `--file`.
## When to use device or the typed command
Use `miosa device` when a script should work across runtime kinds, or when you have an id and do not know what it is. Use `miosa exec`, `miosa files` or `miosa computer` when you know the kind and want the fuller, kind-specific surface.
Machines are also addressable by name in the typed commands (`miosa exec my-box -- ...`). `miosa device` takes an id. See [Machines and lifecycle](/docs/cli/machines).
---
# Environments
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/environments
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/environments
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/environments/+page.md
Description: The template a new sandbox or computer starts from: repositories, variables, secret files and credentials, with immutable versions.
An environment is the template a new sandbox or computer starts from. It decides which repositories are cloned, which variables and secret files are injected, and which of your credentials the machine may use. Every workspace has one default environment named `base`. A machine without `--env` uses the default of its workspace.
## Commands
```bash
miosa env list
miosa env new staging
miosa env info staging
miosa env rename staging stage
miosa env rm staging
miosa env default
```
Commands that edit one environment take `--env `, and edit the default environment when it is omitted. `--workspace ` scopes any `miosa env` command to one workspace. Without it the API uses the workspace of a workspace-bound key, and the organization level otherwise.
## Variables and secret files
```bash
miosa env set --env staging STRIPE_KEY # value is asked for, input hidden
miosa env set --env staging --from-file .env
miosa env unset --env staging STRIPE_KEY
miosa env file put --env staging hello-world/backend/.env ./backend.env
miosa env info staging # masked
miosa env info staging --reveal # print values; written to the audit log
```
A value is never accepted as an argument, because arguments end up in shell history. Give the `NAME` and enter the value when asked, pipe it on stdin, or load a `.env` file with `--from-file`.
`miosa env info` masks variable values and never prints secret file contents. `--reveal` prints variable values and writes each reveal to the audit log.
## Repositories
```bash
miosa env repo add --env staging octocat/hello-world --branch develop --setup-file ./repo-setup.sh --blocking
```
`--source` selects `github` or `forge` (default `github`). `--blocking` means the machine is not usable until the setup script finishes; `--non-blocking` runs it alongside everything else.
## Toggles and protection
```bash
miosa env toggle --env staging github off
miosa env protect --env staging on
```
The four toggles are `github`, `secrets`, `machine-key` and `agent-connections`. `protect on` passes nothing of yours, whatever the toggles say. `miosa create --no-env` gives the same guarantee to one sandbox. `miosa env new --safe-for-third-parties` gives it to the environment itself.
## Versions and upgrades
```bash
miosa env versions staging # how many machines sit on each version
miosa info my-box # shows "staging v1", and whether an upgrade is available
miosa env upgrade my-box # move one machine to the latest version
miosa env upgrade --all staging
```
Every save that changes what a machine receives creates a new immutable version. A machine pins the latest version when it starts and keeps it. Saving never reaches into a running machine.
An upgrade is not reversible on the machine's disk. A secret the new version withholds is deleted from the machine, so `miosa env upgrade` asks you to confirm unless you pass `--force`.
## Start a machine from an environment
```bash
miosa create my-box --env staging
miosa computer create --env staging --size small
```
## Setup scripts
`--setup-file ./setup.sh` runs a script (UTF-8, at most 64KB) once, in the background, after the machine is ready. It never delays `ready`. Watch it with `miosa info`: the setup status is `pending`, `running`, `done` or `failed`, and a failed run shows its error. The CLI checks the size and encoding before it sends anything.
```bash
miosa create my-box --env staging --setup-file ./setup.sh
miosa info my-box
miosa env repo add --env staging octocat/hello-world --setup-file ./repo-setup.sh --blocking
```
# Install and authenticate
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/install
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/install/+page.md
Description: Install the miosa CLI from npm, Homebrew, the install script or a release archive on macOS, Linux and Windows, verify 2.3, then sign in.
`miosa` is the official MIOSA command line tool. There is one `miosa` CLI: version 2.3. It runs on macOS, Linux and Windows.
## 1. Install
```bash
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Miosa-osa/miosa-cli-go/main/install.sh | sh
```
macOS and Linux. Installs to `~/.local/bin/miosa` for non-root users and `/usr/local/bin/miosa` for root. Override with `INSTALL_DIR=/usr/local/bin`.
```bash
npm i -g @miosa/cli
```
Installs the `miosa` 2.3 CLI. The package resolves the right native build for your platform, including Windows x64. Works the same on macOS, Linux and Windows.
The installer does these steps:
1. Detects your OS and CPU.
2. Downloads the matching `miosa` binary and checks its SHA-256.
3. Installs the binary onto your `$PATH`.
Then sign in with `miosa login` (step 3 below): it opens your browser, and the key for this machine is stored in `~/.miosa/config.toml`.
Prefer another install path?
```bash
brew install --cask Miosa-osa/homebrew-tap/miosa
```
macOS only.
Download the archive for your platform from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/Miosa-osa/miosa-cli-go/releases/latest) and place the binary in a directory on your `$PATH`.
```text
miosa_2.3.1_darwin_arm64.tar.gz
miosa_2.3.1_darwin_amd64.tar.gz
miosa_2.3.1_linux_arm64.tar.gz
miosa_2.3.1_linux_amd64.tar.gz
miosa_2.3.1_windows_amd64.zip
```
## 2. Verify
```bash
miosa --version
miosa version
```
These print `2.3.1`. If they print `1.x`, run `npm i -g @miosa/cli@latest` or `brew upgrade` to move onto the 2.x line.
## Windows
The npm install is the simplest path on Windows: `npm i -g @miosa/cli` resolves the `win32-x64` build (`@miosa/cli-win32-x64`) and puts `miosa` on your PATH.
To install by hand, download `miosa_2.3.1_windows_amd64.zip` from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/Miosa-osa/miosa-cli-go/releases/latest), extract `miosa.exe`, and add its folder to your `PATH`. In PowerShell:
```powershell
$dir = "$env:USERPROFILE\miosa"
Expand-Archive -Path "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\miosa_2.3.1_windows_amd64.zip" -DestinationPath $dir
[Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("Path", "$env:Path;$dir", "User")
# open a new terminal, then
miosa --version
```
`SetEnvironmentVariable` with the `User` scope makes the change permanent without admin rights; it only affects terminals opened after you run it. For the current session only, use `$env:Path += ";$dir"` instead.
Windows builds are x64 only. There is no windows/arm64 archive.
## Upgrading from 1.x
1.x was the Node CLI. 2.x is the same `miosa` command with a rewritten command surface, and the installs above now all give you 2.3.x.
What changed:
- **Sandbox commands lost the `sandbox` prefix.** `miosa sandbox create` is now `miosa create`.
- **Deployment work moved under `miosa deploy`.** The old `miosa app` and top-level `releases`, `rollback` and `builds` commands are now `miosa deploy` subcommands. New in 2.2: `miosa deploy create` publishes a sandbox, a git repository or a local directory.
- **Contexts became profiles.** `miosa context` is now `miosa profile`, stored in `~/.miosa/config.toml`.
- **Restored in 2.1.** Several 1.x command families came back, renamed: `miosa device` (any runtime kind), `miosa mcp`, and the `miosa host` families for containers, meshes, GitHub Actions runners, backups and tunnels.
- **Still removed from the public CLI:** the internal OSA tooling `actions`, `blueprint`, `changes`, `drift`, `evidence`, `capabilities` and `command-overview`. Action authority is server-side, and `miosa --help` replaces `command-overview`.
Renamed commands:
| 1.x | 2.3 |
|---|---|
| `miosa sandbox create` | `miosa create` |
| `miosa sandbox exec` | `miosa exec` |
| `miosa sandbox stop` / `resume` | `miosa stop` / `miosa resume` |
| `miosa sandbox fork` | `miosa fork` |
| `miosa sandbox dev` | `miosa console` |
| `miosa sandbox doctor` | `miosa doctor` |
| `miosa sandbox publish` | `miosa deploy` |
| `miosa ls` | `miosa list` |
| `miosa rm` | `miosa destroy` |
| `miosa capabilities` | `miosa catalog` |
| `miosa command-overview` | `miosa --help` |
| `miosa actions ...` | removed (authority is server-side) |
## Update
```bash
miosa update # download and replace the binary
miosa update --check # report only
miosa version
```
`miosa update` verifies the SHA-256 of the download against the release `checksums.txt`, and refuses to replace a Homebrew-managed binary (use `brew upgrade` there). A one-line notice appears at most once a day when a newer version exists; silence it with `--no-update-notice` or `MIOSA_NO_UPDATE_NOTICE=1`.
## Shell completion
```bash
miosa completion zsh # bash, fish, powershell
```
Sandbox names, profiles, templates and agents complete from the live API.
## 3. Sign in
```bash
miosa login # opens the browser, device-code sign in
miosa whoami # organization, plan, credits, and the scopes your key holds
```
`miosa whoami` shows the user, organization, workspace, plan and the scopes the key holds.
### Sign in with a key
`miosa login --with-key` asks for a key with hidden input, and `--key-stdin` reads it from stdin. A key is never accepted as an argument.
```bash
miosa login --with-key
echo "$MIOSA_KEY" | miosa login --key-stdin
```
### Credential resolution
Credentials resolve in this order:
1. `--api-key`
2. `MIOSA_API_KEY`
3. the active profile in `~/.miosa/config.toml`
CI and other non-interactive environments use `MIOSA_API_KEY`. See [Config and profiles](/docs/cli/config) for multi-account setups.
## Sign out
```bash
miosa logout
```
Removes the stored key of the active profile. `miosa logout --all` deletes the config file for every profile.
## Diagnose
```bash
miosa doctor
```
Checks configuration, connectivity and authentication, and prints a fix for each failure.
# Machines and lifecycle
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/machines
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/machines
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/machines/+page.md
Description: Create, list, inspect, stop, fork, recover and destroy sandboxes and computers with the miosa CLI.
A machine is either a sandbox (code and headless work) or a computer (a full GUI desktop). Lifecycle commands work on both.
## Create a sandbox
```bash
miosa create [name] [flags]
```
```bash
miosa create my-box --wait
miosa create ci-box --size small --template miosa-sandbox --ttl 2h --wait
miosa create my-box --env staging --setup-file ./setup.sh
```
| Flag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `--size string` | `micro`, `tiny`, `xs`, `small`, `quad`, `medium`, `large`, `xl` (default `small`) |
| `--template string` | Template staged inside the sandbox image, for example `nextjs` or `static-html` (default `miosa-sandbox`) |
| `--env string` | Environment the sandbox starts from (default: your default environment) |
| `--no-env` | Pass nothing of yours to the sandbox (safe to hand to third parties) |
| `--setup-file string` | Shell script (UTF-8, max 64KB) run in the background once the sandbox is ready |
| `--ttl string` | Time to live: seconds, `90m`, `2h` or `2d` (default: the plan's) |
| `--idle-timeout string` | Pause after this much inactivity: seconds, `15m`, `1h` |
| `--meta stringArray` | Metadata, `KEY=VALUE` (repeatable) |
| `--workspace string` | Workspace slug to assign the sandbox to |
| `--wait` | Wait until the sandbox is ready for commands |
| `--wait-timeout duration` | How long `--wait` may take (default `3m0s`) |
## List and inspect
```bash
miosa list --state running
miosa list --json | jq -r '.data[].name'
miosa info my-box # state, environment and setup status
miosa usage my-box # runtime, time left and estimated cost
```
`miosa list` takes `--state`, `--tag`, `--template`, `--search`, `--workspace`, `--workspace-id`, `--limit`, `--page`, `--ids` (print only ids) and `--errored` (include sandboxes in the error state).
`miosa info` shows the pinned environment version (for example `staging v1`) and whether an upgrade is available.
## Current sandbox
```bash
miosa use my-box # set the current sandbox
miosa use # show it
miosa exec -- npm test
```
Anywhere a sandbox is expected you may give its name, its id, `current` or `self` (inside a sandbox).
## Start, stop, pause, resume, restart
```bash
miosa stop my-box # keep the disk
miosa pause my-box # keep disk and memory state
miosa resume my-box
miosa restart my-box --wait # power-cycle in place: same id, same disk
```
`miosa restart` stops the sandbox keeping its disk and boots that disk again, so files, packages and enabled services survive and running processes start fresh.
Use it when a sandbox stops answering.
If its host stopped it with a memory checkpoint instead, the sandbox comes back from memory and the command says so, with the next step.
## Extend, tag and wait
```bash
miosa extend my-box --for 2h # replace the time to live
miosa tag my-box --set team=ci
miosa wait my-box --for running
```
`miosa extend --for` accepts seconds, `90m`, `2h` or `2d`, and replaces the old value rather than adding to it.
## Fork and recover
```bash
miosa fork my-box copy-box # a running copy of a sandbox
miosa recover my-box # recover the disk into a NEW sandbox
```
## Destroy
```bash
miosa destroy my-box --yes
miosa destroy my-box other-box
```
`--yes` is required when there is no terminal. Destroy is permanent.
## Computers
Computers are the GUI machines. Every command that acts on one takes `--computer` where a machine argument appears.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| `miosa computer create --size small` | Create a computer (`--size`, `--template`, `--env`, `--setup-file`) |
| `miosa computer list` | List computers |
| `miosa computer get ` | Details and status |
| `miosa computer start` / `stop` / `restart` | Power states |
| `miosa computer logs` | Recent VM-level logs |
| `miosa computer ports` / `urls` | Exposed ports and public URLs |
| `miosa computer auto-stop` | Auto-stop settings |
| `miosa computer rm --yes` | Destroy permanently |
To drive the desktop (screenshot, click, type), use an SDK or the MCP tools. The CLI exposes computer lifecycle, logs, ports and URLs. See [sdks overview](/docs/sdks).
# Platform resources
URL: https://miosa.ai/docs/cli/platform
Fallback URL: https://miosa.roberto-c49.workers.dev/docs/cli/platform
Source: src/routes/docs/cli/platform/+page.md
Description: Deployments, databases, storage, volumes, workflows, schedules, functions, templates, hosts, forge, cloud, egress and the AI gateway from the miosa CLI.
## Deployments
```bash
miosa deploy create --from-sandbox --wait
miosa deploy create --git --branch main --wait
miosa deploy create --dir ./dist --name my-site
miosa deploy # deploy the current directory
miosa deploy list
miosa deploy get
miosa deploy logs -n 200
miosa deploy env # environment variable names
miosa deploy env-set --set KEY=VALUE
miosa deploy redeploy
miosa deploy rollback --to
miosa deploy versions
miosa deploy releases
miosa deploy observe
miosa deploy builds # build logs
miosa deploy requests
miosa deploy promote
miosa deploy stop --yes
miosa deploy rm --yes
miosa deploy domains
miosa deploy domain-add
miosa deploy domain-verify
miosa deploy domain-rm
```
`miosa deploy rollback --to` returns to a named version; without it, the previous one.
`miosa deploy env` lists the deployment's environment variable names. `miosa deploy env-set --set KEY=VALUE` sets them, and values are encrypted at rest. `--set` is repeatable.
```bash
miosa deploy env my-app
miosa deploy env-set my-app --set DATABASE_URL=postgres://... --set LOG_LEVEL=info
```
### Create a deployment
`miosa deploy create` (alias `miosa deploy publish`) publishes a new deployment and makes it live. Give it one source:
- `--from-sandbox ` publishes a running sandbox's output. Add `--port ` and `--run-command` to publish a running server, `--entrypoint ` to pick the entry file of a static publish, or `--type docker_deploy` for Docker Host.
- `--git ` connects a repository and queues its first build. Add `--branch` and `--build-command`.
- `--dir ` packages a local directory and uploads it, for pre-built static output with no repository.
With `--from-sandbox`, `--dir` is the path the app lives at inside the sandbox (default `/workspace`). On its own, `--dir` is a local directory to upload.
```bash
miosa deploy create --from-sandbox my-box --wait
miosa deploy create --from-sandbox my-box --port 3000 --run-command "npm start"
miosa deploy create --git https://github.com/me/app --branch main --wait
miosa deploy create --dir ./dist --name my-site
```
Common flags: `--name`, `--env KEY=VALUE` (repeatable, encrypted at rest), `--domain`, and `--wait` to block until the deployment is live and print its public URL. `--json` prints the result as JSON.
`miosa deploy` with no subcommand deploys the current directory: the git repository when the directory is one, otherwise a directory upload. It asks before publishing unless you pass `--yes`.
## Databases
```bash
miosa db list
miosa db get
miosa db connection # connection string
miosa db logs
miosa db backups
miosa db backup
miosa db restart
miosa db start
miosa db stop --yes
miosa db wake
miosa db rm --yes
```
## Storage
Object storage buckets.
```bash
miosa storage list
miosa storage create assets --visibility private --region
miosa storage get assets
miosa storage objects assets --prefix uploads/ -n 50
miosa storage rm assets --yes
```
## Volumes
Persistent volumes shared between machines.
```bash
miosa volume list
miosa volume create data --size-gb 20
miosa volume get
miosa volume rm --yes
```
## Functions
Edge functions.
```bash
miosa function list
miosa function get
miosa function invoke -d '{"key":"value"}'
miosa function rm --yes
```
## Workflows
Automations made of steps, agents and tools.
```bash
miosa workflow list
miosa workflow get
miosa workflow run --input '{"branch":"main"}'
miosa workflow runs
miosa workflow run-get
miosa workflow run-cancel
miosa workflow pause / resume
miosa workflow rm --yes
```
## Schedules
Scheduled jobs.
```bash
miosa schedule list
miosa schedule get
miosa schedule executions
miosa schedule run
miosa schedule pause / resume
miosa schedule rm --yes
```
## Templates
```bash
miosa template list
miosa template get
miosa template build
miosa template builds
miosa template build-logs
miosa template custom
miosa template promote
miosa template rollback --yes
miosa template warm-pool
miosa template rm --yes
```
## Batch
Create many sandboxes in one request.
```bash
miosa batch new --count 50 --size small --name-prefix ci --wait
miosa batch status
miosa batch items --limit 20
miosa batch watch --timeout 15m
miosa batch cancel
```
`batch new` takes `--count`, `--size`, `--template`, `--name-prefix`, `--region`, `--ttl`, `--idle-timeout`, `--tag KEY=VALUE`, `--concurrency`, `--workspace`, `--wait` and `--wait-timeout`.
## Projects and workspaces
```bash
miosa project list
miosa project create --description "..." --workspace-id
miosa project get
miosa workspace list
miosa workspace create
miosa workspace get
miosa workspace members
miosa workspace stats
miosa workspace usage
miosa workspace inventory
miosa workspace activity
miosa workspace use
miosa workspace delete
```
## Catalog and regions
```bash
miosa catalog --product sandbox --template nextjs
miosa catalog --state fast_ready
miosa catalog --output json | jq '.data[] | select(.state == "fast_ready")'
miosa regions
```
`miosa catalog` is the canonical catalog for products, templates, sizes and readiness.
## Forge (beta)
```bash
miosa forge repo list
miosa forge repo create platform --visibility private
miosa forge pr new platform --head fix-redirect --title "Fix redirect loop"
miosa forge pr review platform 12 --decision approved
miosa forge pr merge platform 12
miosa forge check report platform --commit --name unit-tests --conclusion passed --file evidence.json
miosa forge release new platform --tag v1.2.0
miosa forge policy set platform --branch main --approvals 2 --check unit-tests
```
Forge repository commands always return a `{ "data": ... }` success envelope. Repository mutations accept `--idempotency-key`, and delete requires interactive confirmation or `--yes`. Forge clone is not exposed until MIOSA provides a credential-helper flow that keeps credentials out of URLs, arguments, shell history, logs and persistent Git configuration.
## Egress
Outbound network policy for sandboxes.
```bash
miosa egress policies
miosa egress allowlist --policy
miosa egress suggestions
miosa egress audit -n 50
```
## Your own hosts
```bash
miosa host register studio --platform macos # prints the host key once
miosa host list --tag studio
miosa host get
miosa host metrics
miosa host runtime
miosa host services
miosa host jobs
miosa host ssh-key
miosa host secret
miosa host tag
miosa host app catalog
miosa host cluster ...
miosa host group ...
miosa host fs ...
miosa host rm --yes
```
`miosa host register --platform` takes `macos`, `linux` or `windows`.
### Containers
Containers on a host.
```bash
miosa host container list
miosa host container run --image nginx:alpine --name web --set PORT=8080
miosa host container get
miosa host container logs
miosa host container stats
miosa host container start
miosa host container stop
miosa host container restart
